Electric showers can be used within any domestic water system. In most cases, they are connected to the mains cold water and an element within the shower heats the water. They never run out of hot water, so they're a great solution if you have lots of people in your house who like to shower one after another.
Digital showers boast a digital thermostat within the shower unit. The temperature and flow of the shower is then controlled remotely, by a separate control unit which can either be located in your shower, or elsewhere in the bathroom. The water inside the shower is controlled by a thermostat, which mixes both hot and cold water – meaning you won’t suffer from changes in temperature when other appliances are used in your home.
Thermostatic and mixer showers incorporate a pre-set thermostat valve that blends hot water with cold water to ensure constant, safe shower and bath outlet temperatures, preventing scalding. It protects you from any sudden changes in the water supply to the shower, so even if somebody flushes the toilet or turns on the kitchen tap the temperature of your shower will remain the same, perfect for busy households.
Power showers are mixer showers with integral pumps which increase the rate of flow from the shower head, which in turn makes the showering experience much more enjoyable. They can only be installed on low pressure, tank fed systems.
As well as the type of shower we have lots of different shower styles available. If you want to go for a more traditional style, there are exposed shower heads with visible pipe work, or if you are after a modern design, square shower heads or concealed showers give the bathroom that up to date, fashionable look.
